Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo (2015), his first studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. The following year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. Scott's hit single "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than one year in 2020.
