Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast is an American YouTube personality as well as a philanthropist, entrepreneur and entrepreneur. [6] He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. At the age of 13, Donaldson began uploading YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His first content included Let's Plays and videos estimating other YouTubers' riches. In 2017, he became a viral sensation following his "counting up to 100,000" video racked up millions of views in just a couple of days, and he has grown in popularity since then, with many of his videos gaining thousands of views.Over time the style of his content has changed to include donation and challenge videos that pay thousands of dollars, video with tough tasks or survival challenges and original vlogs. Donaldson hired his childhood friends to help run the brand as it grew. The MrBeast channel had 60 subscribers as of 2022. It had reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.

The streamer is best known for his battle royale games such as H1Z1 and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds as well as Black Ops 4 Blackout.
